About Me

I’m Anita and have loved dogs all my life and grew up caring for and walking our family Wired Haired Fox Terrier. My family also had black labs that we exercised daily on the beach and in the countryside. My husband, Peter, also loves and is experienced in handling dogs, having grown up with them throughout his life.

Our family dog is an Airedale Terrier who is now 11 years young and still a cheeky chappie with a zest for life, very socialised with small and large breeds.

We are DBS checked and insured, and are both involved in We Care Dog Services.

The reason we have set this business up is that our Airedale was fortunate in attending doggy day care three times a week from the age of 6 months, and that is where he learnt his manners and socialisation with other dogs.

We therefore understand the concerns you might have in leaving your dog in someone else’s care, whether it be for a walk, day care or during your holidays. It is an important decision.

We only use positive reinforcement, praise and treats (if your dog is allowed them), and do not use negative methods such as jerking on the lead or tapping on the nose.

We are particularly keen in keeping up to date with different techniques and health information to keep your dog as safe as possible. Please see some of our credentials below:

We will treat every dog as if they were our own, whilst respecting individual dog’s and owner’s requirements!
